2020 Recruiting Class Summer Update

The summer grind is well underway with multiple tournaments having taken place thus far. Lots more opportunities this summer to get out and compete, improve your game and ranking all at the same time. Doing my best to do a summer update with the soon-to-be seniors and where players are at with post graduation plans. Players mentioned in this article were individuals that were able to get back to me about where they are currently at! There are many other rising seniors that are going to be in the recruiting mix.

Neil Sura - West Des Moines Valley Has been in contact with Wartburg for a while, and recently opened dialogue with Luther. Central College is also in the mix. College tennis looks to be a high interest for Neil.

Jack Gruening - Marshalltown Buena Vista, Wartburg and Emory & Henry have contacted Jack. Has visited Wartburg so far.

Charlie Vandermillen - Dubuque Wahlert Currently speaking with Cornell (IA), Buena Vista, Saint Norbert and Crown. Has visited Cornell and Buena Vista, and is scheduled to visit Saint Norbert this weekend. Also is interested in Carthage and Grand View but has not been in contact with coaches yet.

Dylan Fair - Dubuque Senior Talking with Wartburg. The Knights appear to be the main school Dylan is looking at for college tennis.

Nile Petersen - Atlantic Nile has been taking a look at the likes of Coe, Wartburg and Morningside. Nile visited Coe and Wartburg this past spring and would like to keep tennis up after graduation.
